A home away from home…
We feel blessed at the Boone Church of Christ to have an active college group. Most of the congregation is involved. Some of us are even past students who moved away and came back because we fell in love with Boone and The High Country. Other members of the congregation work at Appalachian State or are retired and want to help support our college group.
During the school semester, we do a fellowship meal every other Wednesday night. College students always eat free. It is a great time to take a break from studies and enjoy a good meal.
All together Boone Church of Christ tries to engage our college group. We plan trips and activities together, annual bike trips to Virginia each year, go to sporting events and even a mission trip each year to Cozumel, Mexico.
